“In questo primo weekend di Mondiale le sensazioni sono state buone. Purtroppo la qualifica è stata compromessa da una caduta nei primissimi minuti: ho piegato il manubrio in maniera importante e non son riuscito a fare il tempo che mi ero prestabilito. Gara1 sono riuscito a tenere il ritmo del gruppo per qualche giro per poi cedere il passo. In Gara 2 stavo provando a recuperare posizioni, ma sono ho fatto una br**ta caduta rovinando il freno anteriore. Nella terza manche ho dato tutto, stringendo i denti, ma fisicamente non sono riuscito a tenere il passo dei primi. Ora ho davanti a me qualche settimana per continuare a lavorare e allenarmi in vista del prossimo appuntamento.”

“The feeling during this first World Championship weekend was positive overall. Unfortunately, qualifying was compromised by a crash in the very first minutes: I badly bent the handlebar and couldn’t set the lap time I was aiming for. In Race 1 I managed to stay with the group for a few laps before losing ground. In Race 2 I was trying to recover positions, but I suffered a heavy crash that damaged the front brake. In the third race I gave everything, pushing through the pain, but physically I wasn’t able to match the pace of the front group. Now I have a few weeks ahead of me to keep working and training before the next round.”
