🌍 𝐋𝐚 𝐭𝐮𝐚 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚̀ 𝐩𝐮𝐨̀ 𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨.
Non una maratona.
Non una semplice manifestazione ambientale.
Il è l’evento internazionale in cui sport, ambiente e comunità si incontrano: atleti da tutto il mondo corrono nei territori… raccogliendo i rifiuti abbandonati.

Un gesto semplice che diventa:
✔ educazione ambientale
✔ promozione turistica sostenibile
✔ coinvolgimento della cittadinanza
✔ visibilità internazionale per il territorio

Cerchiamo la città che ospiterà la prossima edizione.
Serve un territorio da vivere — non solo da attraversare:
sentieri, parchi, borghi, montagne o costa.
Serve una comunità pronta a partecipare.
Serve un’amministrazione che voglia lasciare un segno.

Il WPC non è solo una gara.
È un progetto che attiva scuole, associazioni, volontariato e turismo responsabile.

The World Plogging Championship is the international event where sport, the environment, and community meet: athletes from all over the world race in the territories… collecting abandoned waste.
A simple gesture that becomes:
✔ environmental education
✔ sustainable tourism promotion
✔ citizenship involvement
✔ international visibility for the territory

We are looking for the city that will host the next edition.
We need a territory to live in — not just to cross: trails, parks, villages, mountains or coast.
We need a community ready to participate.
We need an administration that wants to make a mark.

The WPC is not just a race.
It is a project that activates schools, associations, volunteering and responsible tourism.

💪🏻There are those who run to stay fit.
🤝🏻Who to meet new people.
🌍 And who — like us — also does it to take care of the .

And we - with plogging - put all that in there... and also a lot (full of) trash collected together.

🇮🇹 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭’𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨 𝐜𝐢 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐚.

Una scelta difficile, ma necessaria, per guardare oltre, immaginare nuovi orizzonti e lavorare a qualcosa di ancora più grande...
La quinta edizione del World Plogging Championship, prevista per fine settembre 2025, è stata ufficialmente rimandata dal PIC per ragioni tecniche legate alla sede ospitante e sono partiti i lavori per il prossimo anno: la quinta edizione verrà quindi posticipata e si terrà nel 2026, così da garantire tutte le condizioni necessarie per un’organizzazione impeccabile e di alto livello.
Ci teniamo a tranquillizzare gli atleti che hanno preso parte in questi mesi alle fasi di qualificazione: i punti acquisiti durante le gare qualificanti verranno considerati validi ai fini delle qualificazioni per il 2026.

Per l’edizione 2026 si stanno profilando grandi e importanti novità e non vediamo l'ora di condividerle con tutt* voi.
Grazie di cuore a chi ha continuato a credere nel progetto e praticare con costanza e dedizione.

A difficult, but necessary, choice to look beyond, imagine new horizons and work on something even bigger...
The fifth edition of the WPC has been officially postponed by the PIC for technical reasons related to the host venue and work has started for next year: big and important news is looming for the 2026 edition!
We would like to reassure the athletes who have taken part in the qualifying phases in recent months: the points acquired during the qualifying races will be considered valid for the purposes of the qualifiers for 2026. Heartfelt thanks to those who continued to believe in the project and practice with perseverance and dedication.
