BWCC members have been riding around Whitefield for 10+ years now, some of us have advanced into racing, some into endurance biking. You might have already spotted some elite members wearing limited edition jersey.

We planned this trip 2 years back, did a recce ride last summer and prepared ourselves to take the toughest cycling challenge over the last few months. The Manali-Leh rides on Himalayas is one of the most uncharted and undulating biking zones in India. Offering high altitude trails with mountain, crossing five high altitude motorable passes including one the world’s highest. Each one is unique in its own right. BaraLacha La, is one of the most winding, Naki La and Lachung La are like twin brothers standing tall next to one another, Rohtang Pass is the most unpredictable and moody of them all, and last but certainly not least is the toughest to cross, is Tanglang La. 9 of us from Bangalore Whitefield Cycling Club are taking this challenge this summer. We are excited and look forward to once in a lifetime ride experience..

It is rare that someone joins our group and become an Integral part of the Core Group. Bobby has been one such guy. Over the past 3 years he has helped us push the comfort zones and take Bangalore Whitefield Cycling Club Bangalore Whitefield Cycling Club to outside locations like Leh, Chikmangalur and many other places. He has been the backbone of many initiatives taken up by the group. As he relocates to Singapore, we wish him and his family all the best.
