✨ Do you know how the sacred Jagannath Temple in Puri was established? 🛕🙏

The story of the Jagannath Temple, Puri is one of the most fascinating legends in Sanatan Dharma. According to ancient scriptures, King Indradyumna received a divine vision of Lord Vishnu, instructing him to build a magnificent temple and install the sacred idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra.

A mysterious sacred log known as Daru Brahma washed ashore, and Lord Vishwakarma, disguised as a carpenter, agreed to carve the idols on one condition—no one should disturb him until the work was complete. When the king opened the door before the agreed time, the divine carpenter disappeared, leaving behind the unique unfinished idols that are worshipped by millions today.

Today, the Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and the home of the world-famous Jagannath Rath Yatra, attracting millions of devotees every year.
