Joint Official Statement Sunday Sports Club & Kheldwar
We have taken note of the concerns raised regarding the pending cash prize from the Wilson Hill Half Marathon (August 2025), where a runner has claimed that the promised prize money has not yet been awarded.
We would like to clarify that Sunday Sports Club was not the organizer of this event. Our role was limited to supporting and promoting the event within the running community.
Kheldwar's responsibility was limited to the on-ground event management and ex*****on. Matters related to prize money, financial commitments, and official rewards are solely under the authority of the event organizer.
However, as organizations committed to the growth and integrity of the running community, we believe that every promise made to participants should be honored. We respectfully urge the event organizer to resolve this matter at the earliest and fulfill the committed cash prize.
We stand with the runners in expecting fairness, transparency, and accountability. We sincerely hope this issue is resolved promptly so that the trust of the running community remains strong.
