Green Mile : The Snooker Lounge The player must first pocket a red ball and then try to pocket any color ball he wishes. The player with maximum points wins the game.

The game Snooker is played with 22 balls, made up of one white ball (the cue ball), 15 red balls ( red ball 1point), and six colored balls, one yellow 2pts, one green 3pts, one brown 4pts, one blue 5pts, one pink 6pts, and one black (valued at 7 points). After pocketing the color ball he then again tries to pocket a red ball and continues the cycle un-till all the red balls on the table are pocket

ed. After pocketing all the red balls, the player then pockets color balls in sequence Yellow 2pts, Green 3pts, Brown 4pts, Blue 5pts, Pink 6pts and finally Black 7pts.

Fun fact - Snooker was first played in 1875 by a group of British officers stationed in India. The lashing monsoons would often leave the men with nothing to do but play billiards, and they ended up experimenting with the rules until the new game of snooker was born.
