The following post shows how Guru Shri Vinod Vaidya, director of Vinay Nrutya Kala Kendra has always tried to spread the art of Bharatnatyam and how he always wants his students to perform all over the world. Back in '84, his students had participated in dance competition in Washington, USA and had earned the first prize. You can also see his pictures, caught in action while dancing and how he's always respected in this field. Here's one of the leading artist of our Institute who always inspired us and taught us about discipline. She's none other than the daughter of Guru Shri Vinod Vaidya, Director of Vinay Nrutya Kala Kendra, KHYATI VAIDYA. Following are the pictures consisting her three year old self posing in Bharatnatyam dress, her achievements as an artist and how she was recognized by numerous prestigious newspapers and posing next to her idol, her father, Shri Vinod Vaidya. She has performed all over the country and has bagged many prizes. She gives all the credits to her Guru who kept working behind her with patience and dedication. Her bright face with full of expressions was always loved by the audience. Currently, she's working in a renowned company of London, and along with that, she has kept her promise of spreading this art of Bharatnatyam. Our dance class representing our country and the art of Bharatnatyam in Africa!!! 🌸
Back in May 1988, Guru Shri Vinod Vaidya, Director of Vinay Nrutya Kala Kendra, took his troupe for Africa tour and stayed in Tanzania for 2 months. They visited Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and performed during shows organised by the Inner Wheel Club of Dar es Salaam in aid of Cancer project. These shows were highly appreciated by the audience and were given recognition by the Central Government and by the local press. The following pictures consists of the an official letter received by the government, advertisment in local newspapers, articles from local press of Africa and Gujarat. It's an honour for us to have such a Guru with such an experienced and highly knowledgeable.

Here's one of Guru Shri Vinod Vaidya's student, back in October 1980, Mrs Kanisha Patel who had learnt Bharatnatyam from Guru Shri Vinod Vaidya, director of Vinay Nrutya Kala Kendra for 8 years since she was 11 years old and had performed 3 consecutive arangetral under his guidance. An arangetral is a pure and pious performance of 3 hours for an artist on stage, in front of large audience. Kanisha Patel is the daughter of a very successful business and industrialist Late Bhanubhai Patel, the owner of Elecone Engineering Company and other sub companies as well. Residing in Vidyanagar, Anand, he was always keen to promote this art through his daughter and he'd provide glamorous facilities to our Guru as well for his comfort. Her arangetral was conducted for 3 days at Anand City Hall where legendary actress Asha Parekh was present as the chief guest, she have her the shield to commend Kanisha's discipline and devotion towards this art. Her Arangetral card was specially made in Mumbai.Her performances got recognized all over Gujarat and several foreigners were invited to her arangetral as well. Several recognised newspaper such as Sandesh, Divya Bhaskar, Dainik bhaskar, Gujarat Samachar had featured articles of her Arangetral. She is highly inspiring to the students in Vinay Nrutya Kala Kendra and all the credits to our Guru Shri Vinod Vaidya who has always pushed his students to aim the sky and become highly successful in this field🌸

The director of this 52 year old institute, Guru Shri Vinod Vaidya has always been keen to promote the art of Bharatnatyam. With degrees of B.Mus, M.Mus, D.M.E, D.B.N, B.Ed, he's full of knowledge of Bharatnatyam and classical music. He has students all over the world as he has taught over 1000 students and has conducted 120 arangetrals. All his achievements and degrees make him the first person in Gujarat with such high qualifications 🌸
