Alpine Igloos We are a team of professional mountaineers, climbers, skiers and cyclists. We love the mountain life and we crave to share the experience with you!

We offer a range of adventure skiing, cycling, trekking trips and expeditions throughout the Himalayas. We are based out of Uttarakhand but we operate anywhere the trail takes us- Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh or Ladakh

ALPINE IGLOOS
The igloos are built using Eskimo technique adapted to the alpine climate and snow conditions ! A large dome of snow is built and then literally dug o

ut by hand with a spade to create a hollow space inside. There is a sleeping platform, which is higher than the entrance tunnel to make the most of the warmer air rising for comfortable sleeping conditions. In the walls are little shelves for candles and some igloo builders get creative with ice carvings on the walls ! In the HIMALYA there are five or six igloos, each sleeping 2 to 3 people they are quite cosy They are equipped with special insulated mattresses with warm sleeping bags suitable for the cold night time temperatures. They are lit with candles inside, which against the snow create a rather unique and quite romantic atmosphere

Powder Ski or Backcountryski

We create, structure and deliver mind blowing Powder Ski or snowboarding trip We deliver the Backcountryski in kedarkantha peak India
Our ski teachers are all fully qualified elite skiers. Each one of our teachers is a qualified Alpine Performance Coach, qualified in Off Piste Mountain Safety and. Our group size is a maximum of 5 persons per course, this allows us to focus on you individually, compared to private ski lessons our courses are really very affordable.
