WARM UP TO COOL DOWN
Looking for an exercise regime to get back in shape, but seems time consuming ? CORRECT?
But no matter what type of workout you chose, how busy you are on schedule-never miss a warm up before workout and cool down afterwards.
WARMING UP -
1. Prepares cardiovascular system for physical activity.
2. Increases blood flow and thus body temperature.
3. Warmup movements lessens strain on muscles, soreness while doing workout.
4. Improves performance.
5. Helps improve oxygen efficiency by doing dynamic low intensity exercises.
COOL DOWN-
1. Cool down stretches aid release and remove lactic acid to speed up recovery.
2. Reduces DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness) to help prevent exercising in future.
3. Brings heart rate and blood flow to normal.
4. Helps signal brain a happy mood at the completion of even last step of workout.
5. Lower intensity exercises or static stretches are best recommended.

“Little tweaks for a mom”
When I started this journey my aim was to loose few kgs but when you start seeing results with consistency you quench for getting a more fit version.
Few things that helped me being a mom of a toddler and 6 year old girl were-
1. Ensure to get up early, first from half an hr to 1 hr.
2. Be strict with bedtime for kids.
3. Fold laundry every alternate day.
4. Include my diet food to family food so that don’t have to cook separate meals.
5. When I missed workout in mornings ensured I did it in evening either during my toddler’s maalish time or involve them with me.
6. Used the hack of one pot meal to cook my lunch and dinner together.
7. Trained my mind not to feel guilty of-doing things for me, sparing little less time for kids, outsourcing and taking help of family members.
8. Never miss a Monday workout, because it helped fall things into place over the week ahead.
9. Started with four day workout regime to adjust to timings of family and me time. Also it didn’t create a fuss in my mind about workouts.
10. Limited my social media timings instead ensured I read atleast 4 pages of my study material daily that helped me crack my exams.

You got only 24 hrs and little tweaks here and there will help you reach goals.

Anyone can workout for an hour but, what goes on your plate in rest 23 hours is HARD WORK.
Don't be in haste, its not a DIET, its lifestyle change and will take time. Start with easy steps-
1. Calculate your calories
2. As per goal-weight loss, weight gain, muscle gain, athlete training decide your intake.
3. Play more in terms of protein then carbs and fats.
4. Be more active
5. Most important spare some ME TIME in terms of any activity that you enjoy and stick to it.
