One day free Sports Shooting Camp conducted on 25.10.2025 for Schools in preparation for upcoming 2027 National Games where around 34 students took part from different Schools

One day free Sports Shooting Camp conducted by West Garo Hills Shooting Association Tura for upcoming National games which will be held at Meghalaya on 2027. The programe was conducted at 10m Shooting Range at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Tura on 01.10.2025 where 30 participants around the age from 12 years to 30 years of youth participated in the programe.

West Garo Hills Shooting Association will be conducting 1 day free Shooting Camp at Don Bosco Shooting Range on 1st Oct 2025.
Those who are interested in Shooting above the age of 12 or anyone who have Shooting Experience can report to the range by 10.00 am.
This will be only for those under the age of 30 years.
Participants must come with small diary.

Recently Shooting Association of Meghalaya Organised Meghalaya State Shooting Championship at Assam Regiment Centre Happy Valley Shillong from 14th July to 19th July 2025. Six Shooters Participated from Shooting Association of West Garo Hills in several events. After many hudles, hardships and dedication we have achieved following medals:

A. Gold in Peep Sight .22 Rifle Masters Men
B. Bronze in 10m Rifle Masters Men

2. Shri Walsall Momin
A. Silver in Mixed Doubles 10m Air Rifle
B. Bronze in 25m Sports Pistol
C. Bronze in 25m Centre Fire Pistol

3. Smt Badrisa Momin
A. Bronze in Sub Youth 10m Air Pistol.
