⛳ "Learn to Golf" Coaching Camp Concludes Successfully at Durama Environmental Park
The Tura Golfers Association successfully concluded its "Learn to Golf" Coaching Camp at the picturesque Durama Environmental Park, BSF Camp, Danakgre. The camp brought together enthusiastic participants of all age groups—from young children to adults—who were introduced to the fundamentals of golf through expert coaching and hands-on practice.
The coaching sessions were conducted by Shri Johnwell G. Momin, an NGAI Certified Golf Coach and Executive Committee Member of the Tura Golfers Association. His patient guidance and dedication inspired participants to appreciate the game and develop their skills.
The camp culminated in an exciting Skill Tournament, where participants showcased what they had learned over the course of the training. Mr. Vinod Yadav, Commandant, 200 Battalion BSF, graced the valedictory function as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes to the winners. He also congratulated all the participants for their enthusiasm and encouraged them to continue pursuing the sport.
The occasion was also addressed by Shri Billykid A. Sangma, President, Tura Golfers Association; Dr. Debajit Rudra Sangma, Secretary, Tura Golfers Association; and Shri Johnwell G. Momin, who thanked the participants, the BSF authorities, and everyone who contributed to the success of the camp.
Certificates of Participation were presented to all participants in recognition of their commitment and successful completion of the coaching program.
The Tura Golfers Association remains committed to promoting the game of golf in the Garo Hills and looks forward to organizing many more such initiatives to nurture future golfers and encourage healthy sporting activities in the region.
