2026 5th Kukkiwon International High Dan Promotion Test

On June 17, 2026, Kukkiwon held the 2026 5th Kukkiwon International High Dan Promotion Test.

A total of seven High Dan Applicants participated in the test, including two 7th Dan Applicants from Malaysia and China, three 8th Dan Applicants from the United States, Sweden, and Iran, and two 9th Dan Applicants from the United States.

Prior to the test, all participants diligently attended a four-hour Poomsae Training Seminar, demonstrating a high level of skill as well as dedication and passion for Taekwondo.

Kukkiwon extends its sincere best wishes to all Masters as they continue their lifelong journey in Taekwondo.

[2026 New Zealand Kukkiwon Cup International Open]

The 2026 New Zealand Kukkiwon Cup International Open, held in Christchurch, New Zealand, was successfully completed with great interest and participation from the Taekwondo community.

This event served as a meaningful occasion to share the values of friendship, exchange, and unity through Taekwondo.

Thanks to the passion of the participating athletes, the dedication of Masters and officials, and the warm support of everyone who joined the event, this tournament was made even more meaningful.

Kukkiwon will continue to promote the values and spirit of Kukkiwon Taekwondo around the world and expand opportunities for international exchange through Taekwondo.

We sincerely thank everyone who took part in this meaningful event.
