General Rules for Chess Tournament

1) Eligibility
- The tournament is open to all age groups.

2) Match Format
- The preliminary rounds will be conducted before September 14th.
- The final rounds will be conducted on September 15th at 11:00 AM.
- The fixtures for the preliminary rounds will be posted in the WhatsApp group.

3) Game Conduct
- Players must adhere to the standard rules of chess.
- Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in disqualification.

4) Fair Play
- Respect towards other players and officials is mandatory.
- Any form of harassment or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
- Players are expected to play with integrity and uphold the spirit of the game.

5) Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes or issues must be reported to the tournament officials immediately.
- The decisions of the tournament officials are final and binding.

6) Prizes and Awards
- Prizes will be awarded to the top players based on their performance in the tournament on September 16th during the RAGOLSAVAM 2024 Closing ceremony.
- Any form of cheating or rule violation will result in forfeiture of prizes.

7) Communication
- All communications regarding the tournament will be conveyed via the WhatsApp group.
- Ensure to join the WhatsApp group using the link provided in the Google form.
- Players must ensure they have joined the WhatsApp group.

8) Registration
- Those who are interested in participating should register or contact Adarsh at 8089296852.
- The preliminary rounds start from September 1st, 2024.

9) General Rules
- All participants must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Ragam Sports & Arts Club.
- The tournament officials reserve the right to modify the rules as necessary.

🎉 Ragam Sports & Arts Club Onam Photography Contest 🎉

Topic: ക്യാമറകണ്ണിലൂടെ ചന്തവിള

1) How to Participate:
- Capture a photograph that showcases your unique perspective of Chanthavila.
- Post your photograph as a collaboration with our Instagram page: Ragam Sports & Arts Club, Chanthavila.
- Include the hashtags and in your post description.

2) Competition Rules:
- Eligibility: Open to all.
- Content: The photograph must be original and showcase your personal perspective of Chanthavila.
- Submission Deadline: All photographs must be posted by 12/09/2024.

3) Evaluation Criteria:
- Likes: The number of likes your photograph receives on Instagram (30% of the final score).
- Panel Evaluation: A panel of judges will evaluate the photographs based on creativity, originality, and presentation (70% of the final score).
- Judging Panel: The evaluation will be done by experts from the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Kerala.

4) Final Marking Method:
- Likes Score: Each like on Instagram will be worth 1 point.
- Example: If a photograph receives 150 likes, the Likes Score will be 150 points.
- Panel Evaluation Score: The panel will evaluate each photograph based on the following criteria:
- Creativity: 0-10 points
- Originality: 0-10 points
- Presentation: 0-10 points
- Example: If a photograph scores 8 for Creativity, 9 for Originality, and 7 for Presentation, the Panel Evaluation Score will be 24 points.

5) Final Score Calculation:
- Weighted Likes Score: (Likes Score) * 0.3
- Weighted Panel Evaluation Score: (Panel Evaluation Score) * 0.7
- Final Score = Weighted Likes Score + Weighted Panel Evaluation Score
- Example: If a photograph has a Likes Score of 150 and a Panel Evaluation Score of 24, the Final Score will be (150 * 0.3) + (24 * 0.7) = 45 + 16.8 = 61.8 points.

6) Results Announcement: Winners will be announced on 16/09/2024 during the രാഗോത്സവം 2024 closing event.

🎮 Ragam Sports & Arts Club BATTLE GROUNDS Tournament 🎮

Tournament Rules

1) Team Composition
- Each team must consist of 4 members.
- Each team must select a captain who will be responsible for all communications with the tournament officials and must join the WhatsApp group. Ensure that the captain joins the WhatsApp group using the link provided in the Google form.

2) Game Conduct
- Exiting a game without a valid reason will result in the disqualification of the team.
- Exploiting bugs or glitches that hinder fair play will lead to immediate disqualification.
- The use of third-party apps, mods, or any form of cheating is strictly prohibited.
- If any such offenses are found and proven, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.

3) Match Rules
- All matches will be played in the specified tournament mode.
- Teams must be ready to start their matches at the scheduled times. Delays may result in penalties or disqualification.
- In case of technical issues, teams must inform the officials immediately.
- The tournament will be conducted on 14th September at 7 PM.

4) Fair Play
- Respect towards other players and officials is mandatory. Any form of harassment or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
