Shout-outs to both the women's and men's basketball teams for reaching the last eight in the Kerala University Inter-College Basketball tournament. We still have a lot of work to do on our teams but the future is looking good for us.

Also congratulations to Mar Ivanios College for winning the tournament in a very tight finals match up with Mar Baselios.

Lost a tightly contested, very badly officiated game by 6 points. Although bad officiating is not an excuse for not playing to our potential, it was so bad that the game itself was an embarassment.
Hopefully, when the really important games start tomorrow, we will leave this far behind and play to win.

IN OTHER NEWS, we are extremely proud to say that the college's women's team did us proud by battling hard the St. Mary's Club. Although their team boasts of many players with national appearances, they had to sweat to win against our girls, the team's first regulated game and nearly all the players were playing a regulated game for the first time in their lives. Their work was great and the effort was simply excellent. Nice work girls!!

Kicking off the 2012-13 campaign with the Trivandrum district league match-up against Marian College in about two hours from now. We need all your support and prayers. This is going to be one awesome year for the team like the ones before.

Great news for the Football fans in Mohandas College as the college football ground is finally coming. After years and years of promising and procrastination, the college management has decided to do something about football in the college, and we expect the ground to be completely ready within a few months. Cheers people.

We are sorry to announce that our low post scoring machine Sreeraj Perfect suffered an accident and is in hospital with a dislocated shoulder and a broken toe. Being the warrior that he is, we expect him to return soon but it will not be easy. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.
