Sougandhika Centre for Mohiniyattam was a unique initiative of a systematic tutelage in the form of Mohiniyattam to those aspire to learn the form since the year 2003 in Chennai. With 12 years behind, the institution had grown bigger with a main branch in Thiruvananthapuram and have established many choreographic works, thematic productions and performances in the leading dance festivals and have

groomed aspirant and promising youngsters in the field. Dr. Neena Prasad, the moving spirit behind Sougandhika, is one of the most leading exponents of Mohiniyattam today. In Sougandhika, the student is taken through a journey of discovery and is exposed to the values pertaining to art disciplines. The centre organizes programs, workshops and intellectual interactions which accelerate the spread of Mohiniyattam worldwide.
