TAWANG XCO
With the aim of promoting cycling as a sport and inspiring young people to lead healthy lifestyles, we are happy to reveal the dates for Tawang's inaugural local level cycling race, known as the "TAWANG XCO". A Trek bike (a US brand recognized for producing high-quality bicycles) valued at approximately ₹60,000 is up for grabs, and cash prizes will be awarded to the other podium holders up to the fifth place. We anticipate that this will increase local enthusiasm for the sport. The competition will only be open to Tawang district residents.Every year, we plan to host the same event. Ride it, Live it!!

Top ten!!
Not bad for a first timer, we would like to share that Mr Dorjee Phuntso has made it to the top 10 securing the 10th position in the first round of , held at Sri Lanka .
We are sure that he will do better in the coming days and also inspire the youth to take up the sport and surely bring laurels to the state and the country as a whole some day soon.
The journey so far would not have been possible without the undying support of of loving Chief Minister of Arunachal we would also like to thank the Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal for the warm wishes along with (Modi Ka Parivar). We would also like to thank everyone else for sending in their warm wishes for the race.

History is being made as Mr. Dorjee Phuntso, a member of the Tawang Cycling Association and a resident of Muktur, Dudhungar Circle under the Tawang District in Arunachal Pradesh, sets out on his first international trip to Sri Lanka to compete in the prestigious Asia Enduro Series (AES). Mr. Phuntso is the sole and initial participant from Arunachal Pradesh who will be representing India in the aforementioned event. The Tawang Cycling Association (TCA) is happy to support his journey and sends best wishes. We hope he brings honors to the state, perhaps.
