Indian cricket team will start their tour of Australia with T20 international series on 27th November. Cricket Australia (CA) and the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has tentatively finalized the schedule for the India tour of Australia.
The series will start with T20 Series, followed by 3 ODI games beginning from 4th Dec. The four-match test series is tentatively finalized to begin on 17th Dec in Adelaide with the Day-Night test.
CA is understood to have sought the details of the whole BCCI entourage, including players, coaching staff, support staff and family members at the earliest. As a result, the national selectors may swing into action any time next week.
The members of India’s touring party, including coaching staff, support staff and Test specialists like Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari, are likely to leave for the United Arab Emirates in the last week of October. The idea to call non-IPL members to join proceedings in Dubai is to ensure that the quarantine period for the Indian team is not that long in Australia.
It is being reported that Indian team will leave for Australia in two batches, with first batch scheduled to leave from Dubai on November 4. Those whose teams qualify for the IPL 2020 playoffs will leave for Australia on November 12th-13th
