Footballer Sajad Hussain Parray of J&K Sports Council Academy called to the India U-23 Men's National Football Team camp.
Srinagar, May 7: In a significant recognition of J&K’s growing footprint in national football, Sajad Hussain Parray—an exceptional young defender from the J&K Sports Council Football Academy—has been named in the probables for the India U-23 Men’s National Team camp.
Known for his rock-solid defending and commanding presence on the field, Sajad has consistently impressed with his tactical awareness, composure under pressure, and ability to organize the backline. His performances at the domestic level have caught the attention of national selectors, earning him this well-deserved opportunity to train and compete at the highest youth level in the country.
Getting called up for the national team is a huge feat to accomplish in a sport like football, where the level of competition is immense and the margin for error is small. Sajad’s selection highlights his dedication, discipline, and continuous growth as a professional athlete.
