STAR T20 Championship Come and feel the difference. This tournment is going to be interesting because the players have to play professionally for the first time after harsh training.

Welcome to our respected members of the Cricket Federation, our sponsors and dear visitors - another cricket tournament in our city, i.e., Srinagar
I am very happy to welcome you all again in this exciting cricket tournament, where we have teams of different cities of the districts, who are with the players who are in their infancy. This is not an easy competition, but it is really tough because each player is excellent in its personal capacity. No one is less than anyone. However, before the start of this tournment, I would like to give a brief speech of this event and would like to talk about this favorite game. So 24 yards, fours and sixes, and no-ball, duck and century and finally victory and defeat - win and defeat, the inevitable aspect of this event is the flood of emotions. As well as with firm determination, it is hard for us to showcase a showcase on the field - being on the losing side is definitely a tough pill to digest. There is a heck of emotion associated with this game of cricket and it is not about audiences or fans who see it but go far beyond it. There are several instances where players go differently during the presentation ceremony held after the match. Tears, emotions and goodbye from the playing field affected thousands and millions of fans nationwide. In fact, it is also true of this match at the global level. Look at our international cricket teams and how they trust each other during a cricket match, after experiencing failures, the cricket field bursts, etc. It is all part of this game and parcel. In fact, this is true of all sports. Is not it?

"In 'Unsung Heroes of Srinagar', the name I’m bringing to you today needs no introduction. Mr. Adil Showkat, who belongs to Srinagar.
He started cricket early from SP College, then went on to play for Srinagar Cricket Club and later joined Sangam Cricket Club as well.
After that he played Under-14, Under-17, Under-19, Under-23, and Ranji Trophy for Jammu and Kashmir.
I feel a lot of injustice was done to him because he didn’t get the chance to go further.
He was one of the top cricketers from Kashmir Valley. Very consistent. Amazing in batting, bowling, and fielding — every department.
An all-rounder who excelled in every department Despite being one of the best, he never got the chance he deserved.

Responsibilities and work took him away ,but the love for cricket never did.
The same energy the same spirit,is still there.

England Test captain Ben Stokes has announced his retirement from international cricket. He confirmed on Sunday that the third Test against New Zealand at Trent Bridge will be his last game for England.

Stokes started his England career in 2011 and made his Test debut in 2013. He played 121 Tests, 114 ODIs, and 43 T20Is. In his final Test, he also became only the second player to take 250+ Test wickets and score 7000+ Test runs.

He will always be remembered for his unbeaten 84 in the 2019 World Cup final and his famous 135 not out at Headingley during the Ashes. His highest Test score was 258 against South Africa in 2016.

On his decision, Stokes said:
“There’s something that I know is going to happen over the next two days. These are my last two days as your captain and my last two days representing England. Reasons can wait. I’ve had many trips to the well before for this team, for you blokes, for people beforehand, and I’ve got one more trip to do.”

Thank you for the memories, Stokesy. A true England legend.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru win their second title in the Indian Premier League. And they do it in back to back years.

Virat Kohli leads the chase and hands RCB a well deserved title in the 2026 edition of the game. And he finishes in style with a terrific six!

RCB join Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the list of teams who have defended their title in the Indian Premier League. And consider this, RCB have done it after remaining trophyless for the first 17 years.

The accused in the brutal r**e and murder case of an innocent girl in Budgam has been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Mir.
Such crimes are horrific, and many people are demanding the strictest possible punishment, including the death penalty.
