Summerbugh T20 Special Match.
Eleven Riders Summerbugh beat Phoenix Cricket Club Summerbugh by 5 wickets in a Historic Chase.
Dated:- 1st July 2023.
Earlier Phoenix Cricket Club Summerbugh won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted a mammoth total of 237 runs on board in the allotted 20 overs.
Faizan Rashid with 101 runs & Aabid Malik with 85 runs were the highest scorers for them.
In reply to the Mammoth total, the Eleven Riders Summerbugh created history and made 241 runs with 7 balls to spare.
Munir Guru & Aamir Suhail smashed the opening partnership of 109 runs in 8 overs. Their final individual score was 73 & 45 runs respectively. Then the middle order of Riders finished the game on a high note. Mubashir Shabir with 35 runs, Waseem Guru with 30 runs & Owais Bhat with 24 runs were the top contributors after the opening Batsman's.
Munir with the Top Class Knock of 73 runs from 30 balls was declared as the Player of the match.
After this Historic Chase, A Hall of Frame wall was created to mark this Chase in the History of Summerbugh Cricket Ground.
