At FC1, we are delighted by the announcement of the Centre for Sports Excellence in Kashmir, a landmark step towards shaping the future of sport in the region.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, and the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council for making this vision a reality.
This is a much-needed investment in our young athletes and the sporting ecosystem of Jammu & Kashmir. We now look forward to its swift inauguration and timely completion, enabling generations of aspiring sportspersons to train and excel in world-class facilities.
As this landmark project takes shape, we hope it also sets global benchmarks in sustainability by integrating ESG principles, with a strong focus on water stewardship, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy, and solar-powered infrastructure.
The future of sports in Kashmir looks brighter than ever.
