Time. When it comes to training, time is what matters, not the distance. Time represents the amount ...

What a beautiful morning it was for easy running, focused only on the form & improving the stride length of the runners & yes a bit of science always helps!

Quick Tip (slow read) :

Running is about moving from one balance point to another balance point. The most balance occurs when the balance point is within your base of support. So your body must be properly aligned when the foot lands on the ground to create that base of support. When your foot lands on and pushes off the ground, you apply a force to the ground. As Isaac Newton taught us, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So the ground also applies a force to your foot when it lands on the ground, and another force to the foot when it pushes off the ground. This is called the “ground reaction force.” Running is about optimizing the ground reaction forces upon both landing and push-off so that you can absorb shock effectively upon landing and can optimize propulsive force at push-off to move forward. To do that, make sure you place your foot on ground directly underneath your hips, and push off the ground with a straight leg so that the line of force goes through your entire leg into the ground...

We also ended up painting the road red....errrr white..marking the distances for shorter intervals :)

Introducing Amarjeet Kairon, one of the most promising new runners running with Team since 2 months. He joined us a month before TMM & has shown remarkable improvement in his running form, breathing & posture. A diligent, passionate & super hardworking runner who is absolutely focused on his goals for 2018!

Here is what he has to say about his running & training with the team!

"I started running around 3 years back . Thanks to my brother who motivated me to start running but I used to run max 7-8 kms in practice runs and my first half marathon ADHM I did in 2.19 . Since then I started participating in 2-3 half marathons in a year but couldn’t improve my timing significantly. And last year I was hovering around 2.09- 2.11 . 3 months back I was introduced to AT running . Just in 1 month of practice I clocked 2.00 in TMM . It was like dream come true. Thanks to Asheem who made me believe in myself and his tailor made work outs , various formats of run (vo2 max). Most important he really helped in improving my posture and breathing technique. Now in just 3 months I will be doing my 1st full marathon. Last but not the least is our ATR group , every one helps you to go next level . I am enjoying every bit of my running"
