Hello everyone,
Today, I stand before you to speak on a very serious issue that is silently destroying many young lives — Drug Addiction.
Youth are the strength of a nation. They are the future leaders, dreamers, and builders of society. But today, many young people are falling into the trap of drugs due to stress, bad company, depression, curiosity, or the desire to look “cool.” What starts as a small experiment slowly becomes an addiction that destroys health, education, relationships, and even life itself.
Drugs do not give freedom — they take freedom away. They steal confidence, peace, dreams, and happiness. A person addicted to drugs not only suffers personally but also brings pain to family, friends, and society.
Many talented youths lose their future because of one wrong decision. Some leave studies, some become involved in crime, and some even lose their lives at a very young age. This is not just a personal problem — it is a social problem that affects the entire country.
So, what can we do?
First, we must spread awareness among young people about the dangers of drugs.
Second, parents and teachers should support and guide the youth with love and understanding.
Third, we should encourage sports, education, creativity, and positive activities that build confidence and purpose in life.
Most importantly, every young person must remember:
Real strength is not in taking drugs. Real strength is saying NO to them.
Let us become a generation that inspires others through hard work, discipline, and dreams — not addiction.
Together, let us raise our voices:
“Say NO to Drugs, Say YES to Football.”
Thank you.
