Two coaches of Silchar DSA Table Tennis Academy Mr. Partha Dev and Mr. Shubhashish Chakraborty were felicitated by Barak Varta on the occasion of National Sports Day.

For a coach, recognition like this is not just an honour—it is a reminder that the time, effort and dedication put into nurturing players are being noticed and appreciated. It gives us even more motivation to continue working with our young players and help them grow, both on and off the table.

Heartiest congratulations to Divija Paul for her outstanding performance at the UTT 1st National Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, held in Kanpur from 16–23 August 2026. 🏆🥈

🥈 U-13 Girls’ Singles — Runner-Up / 2nd Position
Divija showed tremendous composure and fighting spirit, defeating strong opponents from Delhi, Gujarat and Bengal on her way to the semifinals and securing a well-deserved podium finish.

She also reached the U-15 Girls’ Singles Quarterfinals, including a thrilling 3–2 victory over Sanaya Kar of Bengal. 💪🏓

👏 A special congratulations to Biprojeet Paul, who fought hard to reach the Round of 32 in U-13, U-15 and U-17 Boys’ Singles—a commendable achievement at the national level.

We are extremely proud to share that Biprojit Deb and M. Zenith Singha have won the Gold Medal in the Boys U-14 Team Event, representing KV Silchar Region at the ongoing KVS National Games in Chennai.

🥇 Semifinal: Defeated KV Kolkata 2–1
🏆 Final: Defeated KV Ernakulam 2–0

👏 We also congratulate Ayush Barbhuiya and Priyangshu Paul of the Boys U-19 Team for securing an excellent 3rd position.

5th All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Championship 2026
Organised by Dibrugarh District Sports Association
Venue: Dibrugarh
Dates: 9th–12th July 2026

The players of Silchar delivered an outstanding performance on the final day of the championship, winning multiple medals across different age categories.

Final Day Results:

🏅 U-13 Girls – Semi Final
Aruhi Nath lost 0–3 to Ishani Gogoi (Guwahati) and secured the Bronze Medal.

🥇 U-13 Boys – Final
Biprojeet Paul defeated Nirvesh Saikia (Dibrugarh) by 3–0 to become the Champion.

🥈 U-15 Girls – Final
Rahini Deb lost 1–3 to Ishani Gogoi (Guwahati) and finished as the Runner-up.

🥇 U-15 Boys – Final
Biprojeet Paul defeated Adreekh Gogoi (Dibrugarh) by 3–1 to claim his second Championship title of the tournament.

🥈 U-17 Boys – Final
Biprojeet Paul lost 1–4 to Abheek Kashyap (Guwahati) and finished as the Runner-up.

🥉 U-17 Girls – Semi Final
Rahini Deb lost 2–3 to Praharsha Kashyap (Nagaon) and secured the Bronze Medal.

The remarkable performances of the Silchar players brought pride to the district, highlighted by Biprojeet Paul's two Championship titles, one Runner-up finish, and Rahini Deb's Runner-up and Bronze medal finishes, along with Aruhi Nath's Bronze medal.
