A Mission Beyond the 64 Squares ♟️❤️

Our mission at Cachar Cancer Hospital continues, and it has now been more than a month since we began our journey of spreading chess awareness among the pediatric cancer patients.

What started as an initiative to introduce these young minds to the beautiful game of chess has gradually become something much more meaningful. Every session brings us closer to these little warriors, whose smiles, curiosity, and enthusiasm remind us of the true meaning of happiness.

For us, chess is not just about learning moves, solving puzzles, or playing a game. It is about creating moments of joy, offering a little distraction from their difficult journeys, and reminding these children that even in challenging times, there is always room for laughter, hope, and dreams.

Every smile we receive, every curious question they ask, and every move they proudly make on the chessboard fills our hearts with gratitude. Their courage inspires us more than words can ever express.

At The Little Tree House Chess Academy, we believe that chess is for everyone, and our mission is to make it accessible to all, allowing talent to shine beyond every boundary.

We may be teaching them chess, but they are teaching us the true meaning of courage, hope, and the power of a smile.

Chess Beyond the Board

The Little Tree House-Chess Academy , with its mission to create awareness and make chess accessible to all, continues its chess camp from past one month at Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre

With each passing day, we see the interest and enthusiasm among the paediatric cancer patients growing. More than the moves on the chessboard, it is the smiles, curiosity, and moments of happiness that make this journey truly special.

Every hour spent at the hospital teaching chess feels different. It reminds us that sometimes, the greatest reward is simply being a reason for someone to smile.

For us, these are not just chess sessions. They are moments of connection, hope, and happiness—one move, one smile, and one beautiful moment at a time. ♟️

Community Outreach Programme | Chess for All

It was a pleasure to conduct an engaging and interactive Chess Outreach Programme at Kalikaprasad Rai M.E. & High School, established in 1978 at Barsangon, Cachar, Assam.

The session brought together approximately 70 students and staff members, creating an enthusiastic environment for learning, interaction, and exploring the fundamentals of chess.

At The Little Tree House Chess Academy, we strongly believe that chess should go beyond the classroom. Through our community outreach initiatives, we strive to take the game to schools and communities across the region, inspiring young minds to develop strategic thinking, concentration, problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence through the 64 squares.

We are grateful to the school authorities, teachers, and students for their warm participation and encouragement. It is our continued endeavour to spread awareness of chess across Barak Valley and make chess accessible to all—letting the talent speak.

Community Outreach Program-

This evening we conducted a special Workshop - Chess for Healing and Focus in collaboration with Cachar Cancer Hospital .

This marks the beginning of a long term initiative through which we aim to introduce Chess as a meaningful tool for relaxation, engagement and mental stimulation within the hospital community.

As part of this initiative we will offer free chess training to hospital Staffs members, patients, attendants, and their families.
