JAMMU and K ASHMIR SPORTS COUNCIL DISTRICT SHOPIAN concluded volleyball and Wushu event under the initiative "MY YOUTH MY PRIDE " today on 18th March 2026.More than 100 players have participated in both the volleyball and Wushu events on concluded day at Batapora sports stadium shopian.
Participated players enjoyed in both the games and shows their talent in these formates . Spectators supported their players and appreciated all the organizers of such events.
The message to the participants was clear to refrain themselves away from drug menace.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Mrs.Nuzhat Gull secretary sports council and Mrs. Nusrat Gazala divisional sports officer kashmir.
Incharge sports stadium shopian Mr Ghulam Rasool Khanday along with Kic mentors, NYC's and other officials were present.
The my youth my pride program initiative aims to promote sports and youth development in the region.
The parents and students encouraged the initiative taken by the j and k sports council under the leadership of secretary sports council Mrs Nuzhat Gull

As part of the ongoing "My Youth My Pride" initiative by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, a volleyball and wushu activities were successfully conducted today, 16th March, at Sports Stadium Shopian

The program aims to promote a strong sports culture and empower youth, particularly those from remote and rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir. These activities were organized under the guidance of the Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.

Around 90 talented volleyball and 70 wushu players enthusiastically participated in these events, showcasing their skills, sportsmanship, and passion for volleyball and wushu.These activities provided a great platform for young players to engage in healthy competitions and strengthen their interest in sports.

These events witnessed active participation and appreciation from sports lovers, making it a successful step towards encouraging youth involvement in sports across the region.
