Formed only this year to promote and quench the thirst of the Poumais in the beautiful game, Khyouchi Football Club will play the 3rd Quarter-final match in the ongoing 18th NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy against Forerunners 4th NAP, last year's runner-up, at Khuochiezie(Local Ground), Kohima tomorrow the 17th October '17 at 11:30 a.m. The club routed Kirha Youth Society, Viswema, by 4-0 in their first match to progress to the pre-quarters where they edged out Billy Graham FC 4-2, via penalty shoot out, after the match finished 1-1 during the regulation time. Managed by the dynamic RR Veishole Pou, a former Shillong Lajong player, and coached by Panii Pao, also the club's first choice goalkeeper and who at 41 years will probably be the oldest player in the tournament, the club wishes to convey their sincere gratitude to all our fans and well wishers who have been with us throughout the tournament to once again turn up in good numbers, cheer us and act as the 12th man as we fight to progress to further rounds. The fans turning up for the boys in red and black are requested to occupy the west stand of the ground. Some of our boys who have caught the attention of the spectators are Zhaipu, the winger, our attacking midfielder and captain Siilounii, Adaphe the centre back and our goalie, Pao.
