The Institute rowing team has brought laurels in various tournaments that are organized every year.

IIT Roorkee participated in Inter University Rowing Championship for the first time this year. It has been around 18 years when University of Roorkee participated the last time. This year's Championship was conducted by Punjab University, Chandigarh at Sukhna Lake. The Rowing Club would like to thank the Institute Sports Council, Mr. Hemant Sharma(ASO), Dr. Alok Pandey(SO) and whole IIT Roorkee administration for making this possible. The Club aims at going again with more force and bring laurels to the institute.

Rowing Club, IIT Roorkee presents the Spring Rowing Camp of 2018. Its a golden opportunity for all interested students who can swim to learn and become a part of the club. Rowing is an exciting sport and IITR is the only IIT having such a facility. Please note that no prior registration is required. Please carry any swimming card you have to the camp(recommended but not necessary). We hope you turn out in large numbers.
For those who don't know swimming, learn it before the next camp to be held in Autumn. Do like our page for further updates.
