What is special about Rishikesh and Yoga here ?

Rishikesh is a spiritual town, known as the land of spiritual seekers, situated on the banks of the Ganga and in the foothills of the Himalayas. Coming to and studying yoga in Rishikesh is like returning to its roots, to a town where the practice is breathed in the streets, where the tradition and teachings of yoga are passed down from masters to students, and where the discipline and philosophy of yoga are lived in the streets and where yoga is a way of living life. ☀️

Rishikesh as our base, because here are the lineages of yoga and its roots. ✨

Satya Yoga Ashram was found after experiencing such an experience to share this ancient knowledge with those who find real difficulties coming from another country, language and culture. Therefore, we decided to translate everything for our students, so that there are no barriers between what is taught and what is understood by our students. Beyond arriving in India, you need support, an understanding of the context, and beyond all, the surety that you are learning under authentic and experienced teachers, in your own language, with respect for yoga.

Many students want to concentrate and meditate, but they can not meditate because their body gets tired, or it hurts while sitting for long periods of time. 🔆

Your meditation practice can become effortless when you put efforts into practice for long periods of time. The body needs to get used to the same position and the body needs to go through discomfort to find its comfort. 🦋

Once the body finds its comfort, the mind becomes ready to concentrate and further for meditation. 🌷
