An amateur Football Club formed by engineering students of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.Founded in the year 2010.Made its debut in the Football tournament of Ankurit ,in August 2010.

One year after our historic triumph over Knights in Ankurit 2012 in Penalties. The memories of the match seems as fresh as a new dawn's dew drops.
- The Goal less first Half.
- Nima Scoring a Brilliant Volley to Put Kinghts 1-0 ahead with 5mins remaining.
We'd thought it was over, dreams shattered again. But fate had different plans.
-Off a Corner, Bikash scored a towering Header. The ball went through the net.
Then, I got this feeling, that this match may well go differently.
-Then The Penalties. It went so far that the goalkeepers had to take penalties yet the result was still a draw.
We missed the First two.
Ang Tashi used his experience and his guile to mentally outdo a few opposition kick takers.
-When the Knight's final spot kick taker hit his shot over the bar, the scenes were jubilant, We had reached the PROMISED land.

What a match that was.
The fear and anxiety of a heartbreak was so long that most of us had gone numb by the time we won.

Its Ankurit 2013 time in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology
yet again. And can't believe the lads in green-and-white are'nt around. To show people, to show fanatics, that Victory can be achieved even if you tread the less traveled path, THE FAIR ONE.

Hello ppl, been a brief hiatus-of-sorts. How bout having a small trivia game of likening teams in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology with the Clubs all around the globe?
Even though Akatsuki F.C-Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology(S.M.I.T)'s kit was a replica of Celtic F.C, I have always thought of this club in the mold of Borussia Dortmund.
Other fellow clubs or representatives follow suit and write which Club best represents your own club... Annihilators F.C. (Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology) & others...

So its official now. Majority of our boys r doin their majors frm outside the college so it actually is the end of the road for is in its own way. Always Putting the Team before an Individual, claimin to ourselves that wateva might b, nothing can b bigger than the game itself. We fought hard bt fair. And nothing would match the feeling to win with our reputation intact. Thank u very much ppl. Thank u my fellow admins, its been an awesome journey.

P.S- "We may just b back for a testimonial or even an invitational friendly, SOON!!" :-P

And as this sem slowly draws to a halt. Its been a very fulfilling, fabulous and a fantastic journey this far. Thanking every one who've supported us, whether by liking this page or by personally coming to cheer us, it wouldnt have been possible without yall..

OFFICIAL: Akatsuki win the Renaissance '12 Football tournament.
Akatsuki beat Revengers, 2-0. Pema came up with a brace and ended becoming joint top scorer with Arunav.
Two consecutive tournaments in the bag, and this completes a cycle. Its been the case of getting stronger every year, and peaking in the final year for us.
All the wait has been worth it.

One helluva humdinger, Akatsuki oust Raiders on penalties to reach the finals. Ang Tashi, put in another impeccable show between the sticks and was pretty Van Der Sar- esque with his omnipresence in the field, saving 3 penalties and almost single- handedly put us thru to the final showdown.
Bikash, Kulshan and Sonam Rapgyal converted from the spot while Rohit was the only one to get through Ang Tashi.
