Last December, Ronnie O'Sullivan won the Cazoo World Grand Prix. He won unexpectedly. He played the whole tournament unevenly. Annoying mistakes were combined with a brilliant game. In the final, he had a match with Australian genius Neil Robertson. In this match, Neil was the undisputed favourite. Ronnie was loosing and catching up. With a score of 7:5 in favor of Robertson, only ardent fans of Ronnie hoped for the victory of their favorite. And they were right. O'Sullivan created a small miracle. A series of four consecutive frame winners in a brilliant style made him an undisputed favorite. Neil only managed to reduce the score to 8:9.
But the match ended in favour of Ronnie O'Sullivan 10: 8.
Last season, O'Sullivan lost five finals in a row. He is now a record holder in the number of ranking tournaments won. 38 is a good number, but 40 is better. Let's cheer for the snooker genius Ronnie O'Sullivan. He is still able to surprise us more than once.
