Rules & Regulations For SMCT - 2024
1. Each bowler can bowl 2 overs maximum.
2.There will be Powerplay of 3 overs for a 10 overs match & 2 overs for a 8 overs match.
3. During Power Plays maximum 3 fielders are allowed to field outside the Inner circle & at anytime minimum 3 fielders should be inside the Inner circle.
4. Maximum of 5 fielders are allowed to field on either side of the wicket excluding Keeper and Bowler.
5. All No-balls will be free hit. Front foot, full toss above hip height & bouncer above shoulder, illegal bowling action & violating fielding restrictions will be a No-Ball.
6. There will be no LBW.
7. Umpiring will be done by any team member and each game has to be a fair one & should be played in all good spirit.
8. Umpire’s Decision will be Final.
9. In case of any dispute or conflict, only captains will be allowed to speak with the umpires who in-turn can consult Organizing Committee if required.
10. Wicket keeper can come to bowl directly after an over ends.
11. Live broadcasting will be done on Facebook & YouTube.
12. A substitute player will not be allowed to Bat/Bowl. A substitute fielder will be allowed for only initial 5 overs, if the player not reach by that time then the team have to play with lesser players, Substitute fielders can only field at any time during the match.
13. Please note that once a team member has been named as part of one team, he will NOT be allowed to play for another team in the tournament.
14. If opponent team is delayed for 10 minutes from the scheduled start time, 1 over will be deducted from the delayed team and 1 over deduction every 5 minutes after that. If a team is late more than 30 minutes the opposite will be declared as Winners.
15. The list of playing XI must be finalized before the toss by both team captains
16. Red (Katra/Kapad)balls will be used for all matches.
17. All Players should carry with them valid ID. In case of any legal issues arising.
18. Request all players to play fair under all circumstances.
