Another proud milestone! ♟️🇮🇳
Congratulations to my 12-year-old student, Vyom Malhotra, on achieving his 2nd IM Norm at the Czech Open 2026 and crossing the 2400 FIDE rating mark.
Despite technical issues with his laptop throughout the event, he did all his preparation and training sessions on a mobile phone. His fearless approach, relentless hard work, and determination helped him achieve another IM norm and come agonizingly close to his first GM Norm.
I'm sure his IM Title and GM Norms are not far away. Proud to be a part of his journey.

Delighted to share that my student Advik Amit Agrawal has achieved his 3rd and Final IM Norm with an excellent performance at the Dole Open International 2026 (Masters) in Aix-en-Provence, France. 🇫🇷♟️
This achievement reflects his dedication, discipline, and relentless hard work over the years. Congratulations to Advik and his family on this well-deserved success.

My student, 11-year-old Advik Amit Agrawal, has just scored his SECOND International Master (IM) Norm at the Pune International Grandmaster Round Robin Tournament, held at The Habitat, Pune.
He finished with 5/9 against a strong field of GMs and IMs, delivering a performance rating of 2482 — including wins over GM Alexej Aleksandrov and Nitish Belurkar.
Two IM Norms done. One to go. The International Master title is now firmly within reach.
Heartfelt congratulations to Advik's parents as well for their constant support.
