Here is the message from Tanaya, Devaj’s Mom.
“Me and Devaj’s dad along with Devaj are also very very sad that you guys are closing down!!

Devaj has literally grown up with Amazeum...his first visit was in June 2019. I remember, he was stuck in the toddler zone initially and then he started seeing the other zones- not playing just seeing.

As he kept growing we saw him starting to explore the different areas and getting more n more refined with his explorations.

The space you created has been so so beautiful and gives this sense of real play/calm in this world of over stimulating screens/sounds. His cousins from other cities used to also look forward to attending Amazeum’s Christmas parties during vacations. Your Halloween parties, other activities and just the whole vibe of the place has been so great!

I wish you guys can figure out a way to bring back Amazeum if not in Pavillion atleast at some different location. My sister’s son had just started exploring Amazeum and she is bummed about it closing too...

Anyways thank you for being an integral part of my son’s childhood!!”

"It's so creative."
"It's one of the few places where kids can be off screens."

These were just some of the words our Amazeum families shared with us before we told them that we're closing.

Their reactions reminded us of something we've always believed—that children don't just need places to play. They need places to imagine, build, experiment, create, get messy, splash in water, ask questions, solve problems, and simply be children.

For seven incredible years, every exhibit, every workshop, every event, and every experience at Amazeum was carefully designed with one purpose: to make play meaningful.

Knowing that we became a small part of so many childhoods is the greatest gift we could have asked for.

As we step into our final month, our hearts are full of gratitude—for every child who explored with us, every parent who believed in us, and every family that made Amazeum what it became.

If Amazeum has ever been a part of your family's story, we'd love to see you one last time.

Amazeum is shutting down soon :(

This is the hardest message I've ever had to share. Amazeum will be closing its doors on 31st August. :(

I know this will come as a shock to many of you. But unfortunately, we have no other choice given the untenable financial circumstances.

We set up Amazeum in 2019 as a meaningful play space where children could play, explore, create & discover. The last seven years have been incredibly memorable and emotionally fulfilling for us.

We offer a huge, heartfelt thanks to all the children, parents, teachers & caregivers who filled Amazeum with their joy, laughter & love.

🚀 FIRST TIME IN PUNE: Design Thinking Workshop for Kids
At Amazeum Children’s Museum

Facilitated by The Innovation Champions’ Club, kids will learn to: design their own innovative solutions to everyday problems through hands-on real world challenges.

Led by Nandita Rege, an experienced facilitator who is:
✨ The founder and a mother
✨MBA, Imperial College, London
✨Delivered the programme in outstanding-rated state and private schools in UK
✨ Conducted workshops and programmes at the Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai

This isn’t just a workshop, it’s a mindset shift.

What is Design Thinking?
Very simply, it’s solving problems creatively and designing your own innovative solutions.

Why it matters?
In a world of instant answers from Google and AI, we are passionate about teaching kids ‘how to think’, not ‘what to think’.

What kids will do in the workshop:
🔍SOLVE a real world problem for real people
💡IDEATE to find innovative solutions
🛠️MAKE a basic prototype of their chosen solution
📝PRESENT their innovation to the group

In short, children don’t just learn, they think, create, and solve with their own ideas (the kind of learning that truly stays).
