When we set on to host this edition of The Jumping Gorilla Trail Run, we had something huge on our shoulders.

Besides having the affiliations from World Mountain Running Association and the honor of hosting the first and only European Style Trail Race, we had a looming pandemic to worry us.

But we knew, we will be able to pull this off. We limited the registrations,we complied with the protocols and we hosted what became such a memorable trail race for all of us.

The Jumping Gorilla team thanks each amd everyone who has been a part of this dream. We take pride in having hosted some of the best ultra runners of India in this edition. We know that this is a start and we have a long way to go. We are coming up with several other races and avenues . The Great Mawla Ghaati Ultra is the second step out of the several.

This race would not have been as memorable without a bunch of these guys who call themselves Bawray Banjaray. Getting to see them in action with the runners is inspiring. Cheers tothe entire gang for having come up with this after race movie.

Hello my name is Sukanya Sunil Bandal.
I am now 20 years old and I started my training last year in December 2020, now it's been 1 year long, Adinath Naik sir and Govind Yadav sir are training me for athletics and trail running at Jumping Gorilla.
Firstly I was not able to run the distance of 1 km at a stretch, but now I have improved so much!
Before I started training, I was interested in running but I never got proper guidance for it. But when I met Adi sir and Govind sir, the perspective of my life changed a lot, to see the thing, they both not only helped me in running but also have taught me how to see good in every situation, how can we excel and that is how I developed ‘a never to give up attitude’. They both give their best, as they always thought that what more we can give to the upcoming runners and by this, we get more motivated and do our best as we all can. I think I am so fortunate that they both are training me.
My journey for trail running has just started, as I did my first marathon recently which was in Solang Manali, my both coaches have trained me so well that I completed my first Ultra race of 30 km and now many more to go for sure!!
I like things in trail running that we get to experience mother nature, different climatic conditions, we get to know many things that add a lot in our minds and while doing all of this is a completely different experience we get.

My name is Saee Deshmukh. I am 10 years old. For the last 1 year, I am taking basic athletes training from Jumping Gorilla under Adinath Naik and Govind Yadav
Every morning I spend 2 hours on the ground and 1 and half hours in the Evening. After I started doing the workout I experienced changes in my day-to-day work like my body posture, my diet plans, etc. I feel pleased to do the workout. I recently travelled to Solang Valley [Himachal Pradesh Manali] for my first trail running competition. I did not know what High altitude training was; my coach explained to me that high altitude training is the practice of training at high elevations. I reached Manali after travelling for 2 days I was excited because I had never experienced high latitude training. We use to wake up in the morning and use to go for a workout it was fun to do the workout with my Jumping Gorilla Team. I had lots of fun with my team because we did a workout together, had fun, and experienced the race together. In Manali, I climbed- Jogini Waterfall, Vashisht Temple, Dani Devta, and Beas Kund. I completed the Mt.Patalsu Challenge which was of 4000m+ elevation. I had a great experience with the High Altitude competition and Ultra Trail Run. With the help of my first competition [Ultra Trail Run], I learned that we should know how to survive by ourselves.
Thank you for this amazing lifelong experience.

Meet Rising Elite Athlete Gauri Sasar

She says, As we all know health is wealth and to keep our health nice it is important to exercise and so I started Athletics at jumping Gorilla Academy so I am Gauri Sasar and I am 13 years old and started athletics with the intention of exercising, grow height and develop body but as time passed I started been better at it and my coaches Adinath Naik and Jaygovind Yadav who trained me as best they could 't and started encouraging and motivating me to become a trail runner and how can I forget about the support of my parents. While training I got to many things like a proper diet, proper technique of running and many more things which our coaches told us. It was been a year I was been training and my coach suggest a race which was held at Manali and was an international trail running race of 30km, as it was my first race it was quite difficult and I learned many things from it and route was also so hard, I was so exhausted but I kept on pushing till the finish line and I came in good timing as per first race. I feel that trail running is where there is running, steep inclines, hiking, and technical surfaces. Last but not least I thank my coaches, team members and parents for their support, help and always kept cheering me and I hope in future I inspire and motivate many people to thank you.
