YOGA, my newfound love! ✨
°
I have been a fitness enthusiast for the longest time, having great interest in sports & dance since school, began weight-lifting, MMA, CrossFit training since college and always tried to explore every avenue I could grab that came under fitness; but yoga was always last on my list. 🤦🏻♀️
For me training was an adrenaline rush mostly with fast-paced, high intensity or heavy lifting kinda workout routines. 🤷🏻♀️

I was always somewhere in the middle when it came to flexibility being a dancer, neither too stiff nor extremely flexible. So I always thought that yoga was not for me; only realised it to be otherwise until recently since I got lucky to receive the right guidance. Yoga is not about flexibility is about being one with yourself. And knowing that state or feeling is magic. It changed my life, for the 'much much much' better; mentally and physically.🧘🏻♀️

As we have started to acknowledge more and more about importance of mental health, we don't realise that it's not a recent or a modern issue, and this ancient practice has been catering to both mental and physical health since time immemorial; Benefiting each and every person! And I really wish that everyone, from a child to the oldest, should practice Yoga and seek it's benefits!

My experience with Yoga has been miraculous.🧿 And now I combine all my trainings along with Yoga!
And trust me when I say, 'Yoga a Day will keep the doctor away!'
Let us all imbibe this practice as a way of life!💫

Wishing everyone Happy International Yoga Day! 🙏🏻🤍
OM Shanti Shanti Shanti! 🕉️
~Stay fit, Stay healthy, Stay happy!🌻
P.S. - Tribute to Yoga and it's ancient roots by practicing the art in an Indian attire.🇮🇳
And shout out to the people who influenced me to practice yoga - I cannot thank you'll enough!
