•Taking you down the Moscow memory lane•
Let’s hear the experience from Bhargavi Dange!
“It all began when we received the incredible opportunity to represent India at the BRICS Festival 2025 in Moscow. Excitement was mixed with responsibility and we spent weeks rehearsing, discussing, and perfecting every step to reach this stage.😊🎉
The opening ceremony was unforgettable. From the moment we stepped on stage, the audience’s smiles, cheers, and curiosity created a welcoming atmosphere. They admired our overall appearance, clicked photos, and applauded every movement. Even in the cold, which made our legs stiff and frozen at times, the warmth of the audience kept us dedicated, performing with full energy. ✨✨Seeing the Indian flag shining behind us brought a deep sense of pride — representing our country on an international stage was beyond words.🇮🇳🇮🇳
This year, China presented a theme called “Orphan of Zhao,” and based on it, we created a 60-minute Krishnaakhyan(Krishna Katha). The performance was a divine journey, blending devotion, storytelling, and expressive dance, leaving both performers and audience immersed in its magic.
During the masterclass, I realized that emotions speak louder than words. Even without understanding our language, the audience connected with our gestures and mudras, engaging with excitement and joy.
In Kaluga, the warmth of the people was unforgettable. They cheered, offered small gifts, and expressed admiration in different ways ✨🔥
Throughout the festival, we grew as a team. Every challenge and shared smile helped us grow — not just as dancers, but as people. This tour was about learning, sharing, connecting, and feeling — the love from people across Russia, Belarus, South Africa, China, and beyond, and the pride of representing India..❤️
I am extremely grateful to Manjiri Makarand Karulkar tai for giving me this incredible opportunity and believeing in my potential, guiding me..An experience we will cherish forever ❤️✨”
🇮🇳 ❤️
