🌞 SUPER SUNDAY : The Story of the Cracked Pot
A water carrier had two clay pots.
One was perfect.
The other had a crack.
Every day, he carried water from the river.
The perfect pot proudly delivered all its water.
The cracked pot arrived only half full.
It felt ashamed.
One day it apologised.
"I'm sorry... because of my crack, I waste half the water."
The water carrier smiled.
He said,
"Have you ever noticed the beautiful flowers growing only on your side of the path?"
"I knew about your crack."
"So I planted flower seeds along your side."
"Every day, while you thought you were failing... you were watering those flowers."
❤️ What you call a weakness... may simply be a different way of creating beauty.
As parents, we sometimes focus so much on what our children struggle with that we forget to notice where they quietly make the world better.
One child may not top the class.
But may comfort every friend.
One may struggle with maths.
But create beautiful art.
One may speak less.
But observe deeply.
Every child has a purpose.
Not every purpose looks the same.
Instead of asking:
"What's wrong with my child?"
Ask:
"What beautiful flowers might be growing because of who my child is?"
Sometimes the greatest gift we can give our children is not trying to make them like everyone else.
It's helping them discover who they already are.
