Tripura register an emphatic victory on Chandigarh by 2-1 in a thrilling match today Nov. , 05, in the second day of Sub Junior National Football Championship 2024-25, which started in Rama Krishna Football Stadium, Narainpur, Chattishgarh under the auspices of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

In this match of Group B- Tier 2, Tripura team dominated the first half from the beginning of the match but unable to find the net. In the second half due to some misunderstanding by the Tripura defence Chandigarh scored the opening goal with the help of Divyug Sandhu.

Tripura team bounced back with some top class display of football and scored the first goal in the 75th min by Akash Reang to make the score 1-1. After that Tripura team dominated the second half & got the second goal in 90+2 min when Stirker Sayan Das scored the goal with a sublime touch to make the score 2-1 in favour of Tripura.

Tripura Team Officials are Indranil Ghosh is the Asst Coach, while Kanhai Yadav as Head Coach, whereas Subrata Datta Roy as a Team Manager with Sayandeep Deb as Physio.
