All the DIVE MASTERs are locals and therefore have detailed knowledge, of the best sites in Havelock and the rest of Andaman Islands. The instructor is from Kerala. Together they form Team Gypsy. The dive center is set in its own 3500 square meters, of verdant surroundings. It has spacious premises leading, to a picturesque private beach. It is a great place to learn or dive, as the clear water is complemented, by a stunning white and golden sandy floor, multicolored reef and fine marine life. Except for June or July the underwater visibility is stunning. The central location of the dive center has many advantages. Transportation facilities are within a few minutes reach. The booking office for boats and scuba diving, located on a small jetty, is just 2km away. Incidentally, this is the place, from where visitors arrive and depart. The island's two ATMs ( State Bank of India and Axis Bank and the branch of State Bank of India. Both ATMs are open 24 hours a day and accept all Indian and international cards, & its just 250 meters / 2 minutes walk from Gypsy Divers Dive resort. Walking for 5 to 10 minutes will take you to the market, Government Hospital or medicine store. Post office and Police Station, both are 2 km away.
