*Inter-school Games competition concluded today at Zone Sathra*

Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Sathra concluded Inter-school games competition which was held under annual activity calendar today on 02-07-2024 at High School Play Ground Zone Sathra in boys section under age category 14 years and 17 years in the events Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi,Badminton, Chess and Carrom. Different schools of this zone including HSS, HS, MS participated today. Pledge was also taken on the occasion by the participants for fairplay.

Chief Guest of closing ceremony was Mrs. Manpreet kour (Resource person, Zone Sathra), she praised the Department of Youth Services and Sports for uplifting of Sports in the Zone Sathra.

Prizes was also distributed among winner and runner-up teams in the end of closing ceremony.

Total Boys students participated today
was 603. Including 484 in U/14 years and 119 in U/17 years category.

All the field staff were present on the occasion including PEMs, PETs, REKs, GMs and NYCs. They performed their duty extraordinary. Sh. Jatinder Paul (PET) acted as stage secretary.

All the Matches were conducted today under the technical supervision of *S. Manjeet Singh, ZPEO Sathra* and overall supervised by *DYSSO Poonch Sh. MoolRaj Uttam* .

Today a meeting was held at ZPEO Office Sathra chaired by S. *Manjeet Singh, ZPEO Sathra,* for upcoming Games and Sports activities for the calendar year 2023-24.

Inter school zonal level competition concluded at Zone Sathra.

The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Sdr.Rajinder kour, Headmaster H/S Sathra.

A total of 140 girls participated today in the discipline of Kho-kho, Kabaddi, Badminton carrom and Chess.

Overall 320 participants in U/17 yr's and U/14 yr's category took part in this two days long Inter-school tournament.

*In Girls U/17 yr's category.*
1. H/S Sathra won Badminton title.
2.H/S Sathra won Kho-kho title.

*In Girls U/14 yr's category.**
1.M/S Shekhan won Badminton title.
2.GMS Seklu won chess title.
3.GMS Azmabad won Kabaddi title.
4. GMS Miran Kehnu won Kho-kho title.
5.GMS Shekhan won Carrom title.

All the working field staff of Zone Sathra were present on the occasion including PEMs, PETs, REKs and NYCs.

The competition was supervised by S. Kulwant Singh I/c ZPEO Sathra and overall supervised by DYSSO Poonch Jnb. Mohd. Qasim.
