Big Day for Punjab Archery at the 38th National Games 2025 Dehradun, Uttarakhand .
Punjab archers delivered a stellar performance at the 38th National Games 2025, bringing glory to the state with multiple podium finishes.
The Compound Women’s Team of Parneet Kaur, Avneet Kaur, Jasveer Kaur, and Raj Kaur showcased their dominance, clinching the prestigious gold medal.
In the individual events, Punjab’s ace archer Parneet Kaur won a silver medal in the Compound Women Olympic Round, while Avneet Kaur secured the bronze medal in the same category.
The Mixed Team of Udhay Kamboj and Parneet Kaur further added to Punjab’s medal tally by winning a bronze medal in their category.
A special highlight of the tournament was Parneet Kaur’s record-breaking performance at 50 meters, where she set a new benchmark with 9X out of 15.
The Punjab archery team was guided by an expert panel of coaches, including Dronacharya Awardee Jiwanjot Singh Teja, Surinder Randhawa, Gaurav Sharma, Amarinder Sidhu Nisha Tomar, Pawandeep Gill, Ankush Sharma, Ravinder Kumar, and Gurinderpal Singh with Vishal Kumar serving as the Team Manager.
Punjab Archery Association President , Secretary General Punjab Olympic Association and Dronacharya Awardee Jiwanjot Singh Teja congratulated all the medal winners and the coaching staff for their outstanding efforts in making Punjab proud at the national level.
