T. Usha Ji, Bowls Asia President Ms Sunaina Kumari Ji, along with NSF Presidents and Secretaries.
Insightful deliberations focused on strengthening Indian sports and enhancing international performance.

Delighted to announce the successful completion of the 17th Asian Championship at RK Puram, New Delhi.

A heartfelt thank you to the BFI Team, participating nations from across Asia, the Ministry of Sports, IOA, SAI, DPS Management & Team, all ITOs, Managers, Officials, Sponsors, and every individual whose contribution made this event a remarkable success.

A commendable performance by Team India, securing an impressive medal tally for the country.

It is also a proud moment for Indian Lawn Bowls as Ms. Sunaina Kumari takes charge as President, Bowls Asia, and Mr. Ravi Bangani as Secretary General, Bowls Asia.

Onward and upward—next pitstop: CWG Glasgow 2026.

Another Feather in the Lawn Bowls Cap! 🏆💚

Proud to share the review & handover visit of the newly constructed Green Grass Lawn Bowls Ground in Odisha.

A big thank you to the Odisha State Bowling Association, with special appreciation to Mr. Sumit Purohit – Secretary General, Govt of Odisha, Govt Officials and to all the stakeholders who supported this project.

On 14th November 2025, ADM Balangir Dr. Bijayananda Sethy, DSO Mr. Parasara Bag, and the Office Bearers of the Odisha State Bowling Association felicitated Mr. Vishwanath Pai – Chairman, Green Development Committee, for his special visit to Balangir for the inspection of the Lawn Bowling Green.

Thanks to Mr Luthra for on time Construction of the Ground.

We’re thrilled to share that Team India players – Dinesh Kumar & Utpal Basumatari – have won the Silver Medal in Men’s Singles at the Lawn Bowls World Cup 2025, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! 🌍🥈

This marks a historic first-ever achievement for our country on this prestigious global stage! 🙌

A huge shoutout to our champions whose hard work, discipline, and dedication have brought immense pride to the nation. 👏 Great work done by Team Managers- Dr Anju Luthra & MR KBS Rathi and Our President Mr Ravi Bangani Ji and Tech Support by Mr Nitin Vaswani (ITO)

We are deeply saddened to announce the demise of former CEO of Bowling Federation of India- Sh. Gopi Ram Sharma Ji and the Father of Sh. Kamal Sharma Ji (Joint Secretary-BFI)

Late Sh. Gopi Ram Sharma Ji was one of our key member and mentor who has always supported and helped all of us to develop the Bowls in the Country.

His presence, experience and guidance will always be missed.

May the Almighty give rest and peace to the departed soul.

Our President, Ravi Bengani was one of the first NSF President to meet up and congratulate the newly appointed Union Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare, Shri Mansukh ji Mandaviya on June 18th in his office. They had a detailed discussion regarding the development of Lawn Bowls in India and how it could potentially fetch India a plethora of gold medals in the 2030 Asian Games and the 2032 Olympics.

Mansukh ji was greatly impressed and even promised to look into the development aspect as soon as he settled down in his new avatar.. Mansukh Mandaviya Robin Singh

Excellent finish by the Lawn Bowls Team in 15th Asian Lawn Bowls Championship 2024 & 13th U25 Asian Lawn Bowls held in Pattaya, Thailand from 3rd March - 10th March 2024.
