Every step towards freedom was paved by the blood, sweat, and dreams of countless brave hearts—freedom fighters who stood tall against injustice so that future generations could breathe the air of liberty. 🇮🇳

Today, as we celebrate the 79th Independence Day, Saints Rugby Club salutes not only our nation’s glorious past but also the spirit of unity, teamwork, and resilience that continues to define India. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on July 26th to commemorate India's victory in the Kargil War against Pakistan in 1999. The day honors the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who fought to reclaim the strategic peaks in Kargil, Jammu and Kashmir, that had been occupied by Pakistani troops. The successful Operation Vijay led by the Indian Army resulted in the liberation of the occupied territories, and July 26 marks the day when the operation was successfully concluded. The day is observed to pay tribute to the martyrs and to celebrate the valour and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces.

Honoring the bravery & sacrifice of our heroes on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Their courage & determination inspire us every day. 🙏🏔️🇮🇳
