AKA (American Kickboxing Academy) at Mandrem Beach is closing due to the significant issues with Riva Beach Resort, its owner, Sachin Naik and his new girlfriend Zahra Qadhiri (Our One Month Gym Member)

Unauthorised access restrictions, CCTV cuts, and restricted bank account access have disrupted our operations post July 15th 2024, with sales and cash being diverted to Riva’s accounts.

Sachin & Zahra, both illegally taken over our assets, including gym equipments, merchandise store, and the Shiva Hall training area.

Posted guards to prevent our team entry, boasting that the Chief Minister of Goa knows him personally so we can’t do anything against him.

Threatening us to go quietly or will make it ugly by his political and local connections in Goa.

We have filled an official complaint at the DGP & IG Office, Goa Police and still waiting for their actions.

Unfortunately, we have closed AKA at Mandrem Beach and exploring alternative independent locations in India to ensure uninterrupted training for our sponsored fighters and guests.

AKA India Tryouts, Series 3, Episode 2

The American Kickboxing Academy ( AKA ) is a martial arts gym based in San Jose, California. It is one of the pioneering schools of mixed martial arts ( MMA ).

AKA is the stomping grounds of five UFC champions. Cain Velasquez, former heavyweight champion ; Daniel Cormier ( DC ), former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion & UFC hall of famer; Luke Rockhold, former middleweight champion; Khabib Nurmagomedov, lightweight undefeated champion & UFC hall of famer; & Islam Makhachev, Lightweight champion.
