The squad out on an easy 30-minute run at Zone 1-2 pace, cruising through the Ironman 70.3 Goa run course. Low intensity, high value – this wasn’t about logging miles, it was about learning the terrain before race day.
Why easy-paced recce runs matter:

1. Get familiar with the terrain
Running the course at an easy pace lets you notice elevation changes, road surfaces, and turns without the pressure of race effort. You’ll know where the flat stretches are for recovery and where the challenging sections hit.

2. Dial in your race-day fueling strategy
Understanding the course layout helps you plan when and where to take nutrition. You can spot aid station locations, identify ideal fueling points, and rehearse your strategy in real conditions.

3. Build mental visualization
When race day comes and fatigue sets in, mental preparation carries you through. Having “been there before” – even at an easy pace – gives you confidence and removes the unknown factor when it matters most.

Getting ocean-ready before Ironman 70.3 Goa 🌊
We brought the squad together for open water swim sessions at our Race Ready Training Camp. Our coaches – with experience swimming across Asia, Australia, and Europe – got everyone comfortable in the ocean, dialed in technique, and built the confidence needed for race day.
From gearing up to knocking out 1.5km swims, every session was about showing up and putting in the work together. And it paid off – ALL of our athletes finished strong because they knew exactly what to expect when race day came.

From simulation sessions to course familiarization, taper routines to pre-race strategy—every day was intentional, structured, and built around one goal: peak performance on the big day.
