Today, I saw these boys at the ground. It was their day off from school, but they had come to practice. I asked them, ‘What do you want to become when you grow up?’ No doctor, no engineer, no government employee—they simply said, ‘A cricketer.’
These innocent kids don’t know where life will take them. They don’t know that, someday, they may have to give up their dreams just to follow society’s traditions—to build a house, earn money, and live according to what the world expects from them.
But isn’t life meant to be lived? Isn’t being happy more important than simply living according to society’s rules?
Maybe we should let these children dream a little longer. ❤️
