9th Netaji Subhas State Games (Wrestling) organised by Bengal Olympic Association. From 7th to 10th April Bengal Olympic Association organised the state games for the sportspersons of West Bengal. 35 kinds of sports got a chance to organise their events under the banner of Bengal Olympic Association. Ajit Bauri is one of the wrestlers who won gold medal in his first attempt in Greco Roman under 82 kg weight category. He represented West Bardhaman district and made his district proud.
