KEI vs IIESPL

The 2nd last League match of the Championship was managed well with KEI pushing the bar as they didn't lose any match in their League stage. Hence, they stamped their firm authority and are giving shivers to all the other teams at the knock out stage. We thought that IIESPL would give them stiff competition but they also falterred like a pack of cards.

We now move into the knock out stage as FEAWA gave walk over to Go Well Rubber Industries. FEAWA now go into the bottom of their group & Go Well Rubber Industries go on to the 2nd position in their group.

The 21st match of the Championship was supposed to be a thriller but it all ended with JCB Warrior not giving any fight after the Haryana Police thrashed them with ease.

Though JCB Warrior gave some moments of hope but the Haryana Police everytime came back strongly.

We expected the match to be tough for both teams as Haryana Police was playing the match after a long time. But their team's talent was bigger then any other situation not in their favour.

They are one of the most underrated team of the Championship...

What a match after a series of matches being rain washed during the last few weekends in Sept.?

Advocates XI (Supreme Lawyers) were the favourites to win. But JCB got their act together & displayed a solid batting performance which the Supreme Lawyers couldn't come close to. Hence, JCB played to their limits to emerge as the champions in their group.

The much awaited match of 3rd Rajesh Pilot Memorial Corporate Cricket Championship- 2021 between Well Tech Automation & GoWell Industries went well till the end.

Toss was won by WellTech Automations and they elected to feild first.

Go Well Industries was having a solid batting line up. They started on a good note with their openers giving a healthy start. Shiv Kumar's 49 runs, Ravindra Ratra's 37 runs and Krishna Chowdhary's 25 runs took theifr total to 156 runs.

On the contrary, Well Tech batsman Anurag made well compiled by 44 runs and was ably supported by Ashish Sharma with his 32 runs and Ujjawal contributing with 26 runs. Hence, these performances took Well Automation towards victory.

The match was evenly poised from the start as the ground conditions at Fervent Sports Arena were perfect. Rains could not effect the enthusiasm of the gound staff to prepare a solid batting track under prevailing rainy conditions. The square was a perfect batting strip with 156 runs being chased by Well Tech Automation.

Much awaited match between the JCB A & JCB Warriors was held again as the last encounter was washed off on 7th August. The match went well as there is always competition whenever these 2 teams come in front. The match will be remembered for the bowling of Ajay Kapoor who mesmerized all the JCB A team top order batsmen and took 4 wickets.

The match was followed with Mr. Sundar Lal being the Chief Guest during the after match awards ceremony along with Mr. N.K Sharma completing the formalities.

The 3rd Rajesh Pilot Memorial Corporate Cricket Championship- 2021 was started after a good long gap forced by the 2nd wave of Corona. The weekend was filled with lot of challenges thrown at us by rain God.

After lot of deliberations and forethoughts, JCB teams were invited at the Fervent Sports Arena for their league stage matches on last Saturday. The day was marked with rains since 5 am in the morning. The ground staff worked very hard to get things in place as the outfield was damp though the wickets were well covered and dry. It was a matter of time before things got in place. JCB senior team won the toss and went in to bat first.

New central wickets are relayed by the Fervent Promotions Management so we were confident the match will yield massive runs as the square is new and looked solid for batting. The only concern was the outfield. Subsequently, JCB senior team made a whopping 164 runs in 20 overs after getting into bat.

Then came JCB Warriors batting after both teams had refreshment. During the 3rd over, rains interrupted the match and it was an outburst which lasted for 45 minutes. It flooded the ground with water logging in patches. Eventually, the match was rained off and cancelled as the main motive of the Championship is for the corporate to enjoy the cricket so we willfully cancelled the match and will conduct this match again at a suitable date.

With the current rains-on around Delhi NCR and the situation looking sloppy specially during weekends, we’ll try to complete the Championship League matches in Sept.

The 17th match between Grezpay and Victora Auto was a run feist for the Victora Autos as Tyagi (64) & Arun Soni (31) made healthy contributions. In the bowling, it was all Sandy who took 3 wickets by giving 27 runs.

Grezpay made a decent start with Mandeep making 54 runs and Aakash (31) sharing a solid partnership with him. But 199 runs is a huge target to chase. All in all, it was an entertaining match with both teams giving their best.
