The Asmita Khelo India Women’s Pencak Silat League 2025–26 was successfully organized in an energetic atmosphere at the Indoor Stadium in Nabarangpur district. The event, hosted by the Nabarangpur Pencak Silat Association, witnessed enthusiastic participation from women athletes of various schools and colleges across the district and the state, who showcased exceptional skills.
The chief guests present at the event were:

* *Mr. Manoj Patnaik* (Joint Secretary, Athletics Association)
* *Mr. Jagannath Behera* (President, Asha Kiran)
* *Mr. Harishchandra Behera* (Secretary, Pencak Silat Association, Nabarangpur)
The guests highlighted the role of sports in women’s empowerment, stating that self-defense–oriented sports like Pencak Silat help women become confident and self-reliant.
Odisha Pencak Silat Association President *Mr. Tapas Ray Choudhury* and Secretary *Mr. Prem Singh Thapa* informed that this Khelo India League was successfully organized under the guidance of sports authority of india and the Indian Pencak Silat Federation.
Students from several institutions—including Nabarangpur RCD High School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Polytechnic College, and Nabarangpur College, jobaguda high school, parents pride public school , —participated enthusiastically in the event.
After a series of thrilling and intense competitions, the winning athletes were awarded. The organizers expressed gratitude to everyone for their support and said that the Asmita Women’s League is not just a sports competition but also a platform promoting women’s empowerment, discipline, courage, and self-confidence.
As the guests stated:
*“A woman is not just the strength of a home—she can also become invincible on the sports field.”*
The organizers hoped that such initiatives would help new talents emerge, create new opportunities, and further brighten the prospects of the district, state, and nation in the field of sports.

ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଇନ୍ଡୋର ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମରେ ଅସ୍ମିତା ଖେଲୋ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ମହିଳା ପେଞ୍ଚାକ ସିଲାଟ ଲିଗ୍ 2025–26 ଉତ୍ସାହମୟ ପରିବେଶରେ ସଫଳତାର ସହ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହେଲା। ପେଞ୍ଚାକ ସିଲାଟ ସଂଘ, ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍କୁଲ–କଲେଜର ମହିଳା ଖେଳାଳିମାନେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ଉତ୍କୃଷ୍ଟ କଳାକୌଶଳ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିଥିଲେ।

ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ବେହେରା (ଆଶା କିରଣ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ) ଓ
ଶ୍ରୀ ହରିଶ୍ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ବେହେରା (ସମ୍ପାଦକ, ପେଞ୍ଚାକ ସିଲାଟ ଏସୋସିଏସନ ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର)।
ଅତିଥିମାନେ ମହିଳାମାନଙ୍କ ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣରେ କ୍ରୀଡାର ଭୂମିକା ଉପରେ ଆଲୋକପାତ କରି କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ପେଞ୍ଚାକ ସିଲାଟ ଭଳି ସ୍ଵ–ରକ୍ଷାମୂଳକ ଖେଳ ମହିଳାଙ୍କୁ ଆତ୍ମବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଓ ଆତ୍ମନିର୍ଭର କରିଥାଏ।
ଓଡିଶା ପେଞ୍ଚାକ ସିଲାଟ ସଂଘର ସଭାପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ତାପସ ରାୟ ଚୌଧୁରୀ ଓ ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରେମ ସିଂ ଥାପା ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଇଣ୍ଡିଆନ ପେଞ୍ଚାକ ସିଲାଟ ଫେଡେରେସନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେରଣାରେ ଏହି ଖେଲୋ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ଲିଗ୍କୁ ସଫଳ ଭାବରେ ଆୟୋଜନ କରାଯାଇଛି।
ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର, ଏଆରସିଡି ଉଚ୍ଚବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ପୋଲିଟେକ୍ନିକ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର କଲେଜ୍ ସହିତ ଅନେକ ଶିକ୍ଷାସଂସ୍ଥାର ଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଏଥିରେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଦୀର୍ଘସ୍ଥାୟୀ ରୋମାଞ୍ଚକ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ପରେ ବିଜୟୀ ଖେଳାଳିମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଆୟୋଜକମାନେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗ ପାଇଁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଜଣାଇ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଅସ୍ମିତା ମହିଳା ଲିଗ୍ କେବଳ ଏକ ଖେଳ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ନୁହେଁ, ଏହା ନାରୀ ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣ, ଶିଷ୍ଟାଚାର, ସାହସ ଓ ଆତ୍ମବିଶ୍ୱାସର ଏକ ମଞ୍ଚ।
ଅତିଥିମାନଙ୍କ କଥାଅନୁସାରେ—“ମହିଳା କେବଳ ଘରକୁ ନୁହେଁ, ଖେଳମଞ୍ଚକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅପରାଜେୟ କରିପାରେ।”
ଲିଗ୍ର ଆୟୋଜକମାନଙ୍କ ଆଶା, ଏପରି ପ୍ରୟାସ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନବ ପ୍ରତିଭା ଉଭୁକି ଆସିବ, ନବ ଅବସର ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ ଓ ଜିଲ୍ଲା, ରାଜ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ଦେଶ ଖେଳ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଆରୋ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ହେବ।
